New York based marketing research firm has an opening for a full-time Database Specialist. Our Database Department plays an integral role in the success of all research projects conducted. Working in conjunction with the Project Management and Recruiting departments, and with the assistance of the Associate Database Specialist, the Database Specialist does their part to ensure that every project the company takes on progresses smoothly and to the satisfaction of our clients. This is accomplished by utilizing all of the resources the department has access to, including proprietary respondent databases, outside third-party information sources and carefully constructed respondent surveys.
Required Knowledge:
Operation of database management software (proprietary in-house program; will train – experience needed with any database program)
Microsoft Office tools
- Strong Excel is REQUIRED
- Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Access
Operation of office equipment, including: PCs, copiers, printers, telephone system, voicemail system, network server
*Ability to write and manage respondent surveys
*Functional knowledge of third-party database resources
*Will train.
